I am a Senior Lecturer and Discipline Lead in Human Movement Studies (Health & PE) and Creative Arts within the School of Education at Charles Sturt University on the Albury-Wodonga campus, New South Wales, Australia. I am also a Principal Fellow in teaching and supporting learning in higher education (PFHEA, Advance HE, 2026). I hold a PhD, a MA in dance studies, and a BEd (Hons) in physical education, dance, and special educational needs. In addition, I have a postgraduate certificate in Applied Social Research and a diploma in Research on Yoga in Education (RYE UK). In 2019, I gained a Level 1 mindfulness qualification with the Mindfulness Training Institute of Australia and New Zealand (MTIA). In 2024, I qualified as a Mental Health First Aider (MHFA).
